Condemnation and correction are not the same. Father never condemns us, but he does correct us. Correction differs from condemnation as follows.
- Condemnation criticizes what we have done wrong, but correction tells us the right thing to do.
- Condemnation focuses on the past, but correction focuses on the future.
- Condemnation causes us to analyze our sins, but correction shows how to live free from sin.
- Condemnation is a tool of the kingdom of darkness, but correction is a tool of the kingdom of God. That’s why there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
